   If you’re 18 or older, and I assume you are since you’ve bought a car, yes, and you’d better; driving without insurance is a good way to get into serious trouble. Be prepared to pay a lot, though.
   An insurance policy is a contract, just like a car loan, and you have to be old enough to enter into one.

   Yes as you have an insurable interest in the car you are the one who needs to insure it. Many companies will charge you more but Norwich union Direct, Ford insure, Asda and Barclays dont. Check the post office too, I think they might do it without charging more on increasing any xs
