My automobile overheated whilst upon a freeway. we had it towed to a dealership given it was still underneath warranty. After a inspection, a guaranty people aren’t starting to cover a correct since a examiner dynamic which a engine overheated due to “continued use” of a automobile whilst a H2O siphon had a delayed leak. we gathering a automobile 5 1/2 hours upon a turnpike 3 days prior to a breakdown, afterwards it sat in a drive for 2 days (never beheld any pooling glass underneath a car), afterwards after pushing for 3 hours upon a turnpike it pennyless down. While watchful for a tow, there was glass pooling underneath a car. This total thing only seems untrustworthy to me though I’m not a mechanic, so we unequivocally need a little help! There have been alternative sum I’ll share if any one needs them, together with a investigation inform as well as cinema of a engine. Thanks!

Sounds like the dealer is trying to get out of paying for the repair. It doesn’t matter how it happened they are responsible. I would take it to a lawyer not a mechanic.
I would love to see this report and the pictures. I’d like to see what they call “continued use” my email is CarDoctor_08@yahoo.com
get a mechanic that isnt affiiliated with them in any way to prove them wrong.
This is going to be a fight between you and your dealer.
Sorry bud I work for a very large ford dealer and if the warantee company says they arent paying there isnt anything u can do. In ur warantee plan in the fine print it basically says they pay at their own discression…if they check it out and dont wanna pay they dont have to..and to whoever said they have to pay for it….well no they dont….at all…if they can prove it was leaking then they from negligent maintenance and they can void your warantee on the spot…
They don’t know how long the car was driven since the water pump started leaking. If it was a slow leak, the only way to know would be to see a wet spot or inspect the water pump before driving. They don’t know how fast the leak was while you drove it leading to the critical difficiency of coolant. You need an advcate. You only know you have an overheated situation when the temperature gauge or malfunction light tells you, or clouds of steam issue from the engine compartment. Then you cannot stop until you move out of danger from collision, but you must stop as soon as you can safely. If the engine was in an overheated state and you drove it until the engine quit, then you have some fault in the damage. Damage in that case will be severe.
If the water pump was under warranty, it’s failure should be covered. Many models with rubber cam belts have the water pump inaccessible without some disassembly.
If this is a VW, then you may have a case, as this has happened to people before. The waterpump is due to be changed at 60K, but can go way before that because of its crappy plastic impeller. A couple of websites below, where you can find examples of this happening to people.
